The squad was officially announced on April 16, 2026. Chamari Athapaththu is captaining both the ODI and T20I teams. Key players include Harshitha Samarawickrama, Vishmi Gunaratne, and Inoka Ranaweera. The tour includes three ODIs in Rajshahi on April 20, 22, and 25, followed by T20Is in Sylhet. The team has been working on power batting specifically for the Bangladesh pitches under new guidance.
