Flight lands late and I go straight toward Bandarawela. Airport counter vs a shop tomorrow. What actually works?

Airport counters work if you want it done while you wait. In town Dialog/Mobitel shops are fine in the morning. Take your passport. I will not quote a pack price that changes.

We bought in Negombo the next morning and had data before the hop to Bandarawela. Airport was faster, town was calmer. Both worked.

If you are tired, stay near the bus stand or town centre in Bandarawela and skip the extra viewpoint. Pull cash in Colombo, Kandy, or Galle first. Cards are a maybe, not a plan.
