If you want a truly hidden jungle cafe, you need to head slightly inland from Ahangama. Citra is a beautiful, serene cafe surrounded entirely by lush green trees and rice paddies.

Renting a scooter and exploring the small dirt roads inland from the Ahangama coast will reveal dozens of tiny, beautiful local spots that tourists walking on the main road never see.

Another incredible hidden spot is Kip. It is an ultra minimalist boutique cafe tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, offering phenomenal artisanal coffee and a perfectly peaceful atmosphere to read or work.
