You can easily rent a reliable bicycle from the numerous rental shops located right outside the Archaeological Museum and ticket office for about 400 to 500 LKR per day.

Many guesthouses located near the ancient city also offer bicycle rentals to their guests directly, making it extremely convenient to start your tour early in the morning.
