Where to see traditional Sri Lankan puppet shows or folk performances?
I'm interested in traditional arts. Are there still authentic puppet shows or folk performances happening?

Traditional puppetry (kolam) still exists but is quite rare as regular performances. You might catch them during festivals or at cultural centers in Ambalangoda or Galle area. Some hotels and cultural shows include short puppet or mask dance segments. For more authentic experiences, look for community events or ask at cultural centers. The art form is being kept alive by a few dedicated families and groups. It's not as easy to find as it once was.
Some cultural centers occasionally organize performances. It's worth asking locally if anything is happening during your visit.
