White clothes on the 6:41 street - locals actually wear them on Kumbal nights or temple-only

Still confused after last night. Plenty of colour on the kerb, plenty of white near Maligawa. Second Kumbal listed 6:41. Are we rude in a dark long shirt, or is white a courtyard thing we keep mixing up.

White is a temple habit. Street wants covered and practical. Dark long shirt is not rude. Damp white on pavement is just cold.

If you enter Maligawa in the morning, light covered clothes help. For 6:41, dry and modest. Nobody is grading your colour on the kerb.

Shoulders, knees, hats off inside. That is the list. Colour is not the list.
