White clothes still damp from last Kumbal — change before the 6:44 kerb or wear them and look like we tried

We washed the white set after a Kumbal night. Guesthouse rail is still wet. Partner thinks showing up in damp cotton is respectful. I think we will shiver if a shower hits. 23 Aug, leftover humidity, not a cyclone.

Wear dry clothes that cover shoulders and knees. White is a custom, not a ticket. Damp cotton on a packed kerb is how you get cold and then rude. Hang the set for tomorrow. A supermarket T-shirt that covers is more respectful than a wet performance. I will not invent a dress fee.

We wore dry dark trousers and a light shirt. Fine. No one checked a colour chart.

Pride wears damp white and then borrows a stranger's poncho.
