We thought white was the street uniform. It is damp and grey. Third Kumbal listed 6:53. Shoulders need covering if we also do Maligawa at noon. Ordinary budget.

White is a temple habit, not a street uniform. Grey is fine on the 6:53 kerb. Covered shoulders and knees if you enter Maligawa. Sarong hire at the desk exists. Follow the board, not a blog. Hang the damp shirt, do not pack it wet for a hill hop tomorrow.

We bought a cheap cover near the market, wore grey on the street. Fine. Nobody checked our fashion on the kerb.
