White shirt from first Kumbal still damp - wear it grey to 6:41 or buy a cheap covered set

We washed the white set in a Peradeniya sink after first Kumbal. Still damp this morning. Second Kumbal listed 6:41. Do locals actually wear white on the street, or is that a courtyard thing and we should just cover shoulders in whatever is dry.

White is a temple habit, not a street uniform. Covered shoulders and knees matter more than the colour. Wear the dry set. Damp white on a two-hour kerb is a chill and a see-through problem.

If you will enter Maligawa in the morning, light covered clothes help. For 6:41 pavement, dry and modest is enough. No need to buy a tourist white kit.

Hang the damp set on the Peradeniya fan all day. Wear yesterday's dark tee tonight. We did that and nobody cared.

If rain is possible, dark plus poncho. White plus rain is a plastered shirt.
