Wife is 6 months pregnant. Doc says trip is fine. Is Sri Lanka in Feb realistic?

Nurse and mom here. Sri Lanka is actually a fine choice for a low-risk 6-month pregnancy in Feb. Coastal weather is manageable (not July humidity). Private hospitals in Colombo (Lanka, Asiri, Nawaloka) are excellent - maternity care is world class. Practical: stay hydrated, avoid unpasteurized dairy, no raw fish, pack her prenatal vitamins, and stick to coastal/urban itineraries not deep jungle. Skip Yala (jeep bouncing not great). Beach + Kandy + Bentota is a beautiful trip.
Did exactly this at 5 months. It was fine. Get travel insurance that covers pregnancy (World Nomads doesn't by default - need specific rider). Keep an eye on her feet swelling in heat. Slow itinerary. She'll love it.
