Multi-layer approach: (1) Primary: hotel/accommodation WiFi. (2) Backup: Dialog/Mobitel data SIM as hotspot (4G LTE 50GB/month package 3000 LKR). (3) Emergency: 2nd carrier SIM for redundancy (Dialog + Mobitel). (4) Public: cafes, coworking as fallback.

For serious remote work: MiFi hotspot device (rentable in Colombo, 3000-6000 LKR/month) provides consistent connection. Some coworking spaces have backup generators + backup ISP — resilient even during outages. Colombo/Kandy tourism zones very reliable.
