Wildlife parks next week - are they digging mud ponds because of El Nino talk
Safari booking next week. Saw talk about El Nino prep and new mud ponds in national parks. Are parks actively cutting water holes now, and does that change where jeeps go or how dry the animals look.

There is a mud-pond / water-hole push tied to El Nino reservoir prep. Parks manage water for wildlife - expect some artificial ponds, not a closed-park story.
Jeeps still run the usual circuits. Ask your tracker which water points are active that week instead of worrying about the headline.
Dry-season optics can look harsh even with ponds. Book morning slots, carry binoculars, and do not expect every waterhole to be photogenic.
