Many small working cinnamon plantations in south (Matara area) and southwest (Bentota, Ambalangoda). Look for family-run demonstrations — NOT commercial spice gardens. Bentota Cinnamon Trail, Silva's Cinnamon Estate near Matara, and Aliyagoda village all authentic.

Watch peeling — 5-8 year old sticks harvested, outer bark stripped, inner bark peeled and rolled into quills. Skilled workers can do it in 30 seconds. Half-day tour 3000-6000 LKR includes lunch. Buy quills at farm — 3000-6000 LKR per kg, quality and price you won't beat.
