Some tourist got attacked in a park in India last week and it's freaking me out. Is Yala similarly risky? Should I cancel?

Attacks in Yala are extremely rare - can count on one hand in decades. You stay in the jeep. Leopards don't approach jeeps unless deliberately provoked (loud sounds, standing up, exiting vehicle). Follow driver's instructions, stay seated, don't panic if a leopard walks near - they usually ignore vehicles entirely. The India incident was a person on foot in a different park. Different situation. Go on your safari.

^ correct. Also there are zero recorded fatal leopard attacks on tourists in Yala. Don't cancel over this - it's a different park in a different country and involved someone outside a vehicle.

Ok not cancelling. Thank you both for perspective.
