Yoga TT in Sri Lanka vs Bali - have 4 weeks. Which is 'better'?
3 Answers from travellers
Have taught in both. Bali is more polished (bigger scene, more schools, more instagram), Sri Lanka is more raw (fewer schools, deeper community, less commercial). If you want a 'yoga vacation' with parties + acai bowls + wellness culture - Bali. If you want to actually study, disconnect, and skip the scene - Sri Lanka. Talalla Retreat, Ulpotha (very traditional), Salt House (surf + yoga combo) are the top Sri Lanka picks.
Add: if you're planning to teach yoga after, Bali TT looks more 'branded' on Instagram (matters if you want online followers). Sri Lanka TT is a certificate that says the same thing but with less clout in that specific market. Study quality is comparable. Yogini Alliance registered here just like there.
