9.45 luxury is already gone - is there anything after 10 toward Colombo or is Goods Shed just a dark shed
We did not run at 9.32. NextBus last luxury was 9.45. Superline was the wrong company. We are packed anyway. Walk to Goods Shed at 9.56 and hope, or is after-10 just whatever a conductor still has the energy to mark Colombo.

NextBus Kandy to Colombo luxury last listed 9:45 PM (June 2026 update). At 9.56 that departure is not a plan. A Goods Shed conductor is the only honest ask, and a Perahera night is a bad night to invent a bus. If you cannot see a Colombo-marked bus as you arrive, sleep. Morning is a real timetable.
Do not stand on Raja Veediya with a suitcase "in case." Inland, hotel, first daylight luxury / train board.
We got to the stand at 9.50 and it was leftover people and no Colombo board. Hotel. 6am was fine.
Scam Watch: colombo
Driver claims the meter is broken and quotes an inflated flat rate. Common on arrival at airport or railway stations when tourists are tired and disoriented.
Drivers wearing official-looking uniforms claim to be "government-approved" and charge 3-5x normal rates. They may have fake badges or ID cards.
Women with babies approach asking you to buy milk powder at a nearby shop (not cash). The shop is run by accomplices and charges 5-10x normal price.
