Yes, Indian Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan is visiting Colombo today April 19. A special traffic plan is in place along the Katunayake Expressway, Baseline Road, and near Galle Face between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM. If you are heading to the airport, please leave at least one hour earlier than usual to avoid the intermittent road closures during the motorcade movement.

Drivers wearing official-looking uniforms claim to be "government-approved" and charge 3-5x normal rates. They may have fake badges or ID cards.
Women with babies approach asking you to buy milk powder at a nearby shop (not cash). The shop is run by accomplices and charges 5-10x normal price.
