Best places for authentic Ayurvedic massage in Galle?
Looking for a proper, relaxing Ayurvedic oil massage near Galle Fort, not a sketchy tourist trap. Any recommendations?

Inside Galle Fort, look up "Fort Spa" or the spa at the Amangalla Hotel if you want pure luxury. For more traditional/medical Ayurveda, you have to go a bit outside the fort towards Unawatuna. Secret Root Spa is quite good and authentic.
I second Secret Root! It is tucked away in the jungle. The Shirodhara treatment (where they drip warm oil on your forehead) was the most relaxing thing I have ever experienced.
Just remember, a true Ayurvedic massage uses A LOT of oil. It is not like a dry Thai massage. Don't plan to wear fancy clothes immediately afterward because you will be covered in herbal oils!
