I see a lot of beginner recommendations for Weligama. Where do the advanced surfers go on the South Coast? Looking for fast, hollow reef breaks.

You want Rams Right in Midigama. It is a shallow, sharp reef break that produces fast, barreling waves. Also check out The Rock in Kabalana. Definitely not for beginners.

Mirissa Point (the right-hander near the rocks) can get incredibly hollow on a solid swell. Just watch out for the sea urchins getting in and out of the water.
