Are these two different hikes? I want to do the long overnight pilgrimage hike with the steps, which one is that?

Do Sri Pada only during the pilgrimage season (December to May). Outside of those months, the paths are dark, unlit, shops are closed, and it is shrouded in dangerous rainy mist.

They are completely different. Sri Pada (Adams Peak) is the sacred mountain near Hatton with 5,000+ stone steps, taking 3-5 hours overnight. Little Adams Peak is a very easy 30-minute stroll through tea estates located in Ella town.
