Local so the grooming reality Barbers cheap plentiful and good the local barber (the saloon as the signs often say) is on every high street a haircut costs very little and the barbers are skilled the classic experience includes the cut and often a head massage at the end which is wonderful the cut throat shave is a proper old school treat a hot towel and a close shave for a pittance hygiene at a reasonably busy clean shop is fine they use fresh blades just glance that the place looks clean and the blade is new (it usually is) point at a photo or keep it simple if explaining the style is hard Salons for women the towns and especially the cities and the malls have proper salons and the hotel salons for a trim blow dry colour or treatment to a good standard the bridal and beauty salon scene here is actually very developed (it is a big wedding culture) so quality is available in the cities at the high end while a small town salon is more basic the everyday reality grooming is cheap accessible and good the local barber is a fun cheap authentic experience for men and the city salons cover the women just pick a clean busy place and enjoy how little it costs
The local barber with the head massage and a cut throat shave for almost nothing sounds brilliant point at a photo and pick a clean busy place noted I am getting the full treatment thank you
