Taking a boat safari on Koggala Lake to visit Madol Duwa is highly worth it if you appreciate nature and Sri Lankan literature. The lake is incredibly serene, surrounded by mangroves, and taking a quiet boat ride there is a perfect, relaxing afternoon activity away from the surf.
