The Pettah Central Bus Station was officially reopened on April 8, 2026, following a major modernization project. It now features improved bus platforms, better lighting, and modern sanitation systems. There is also a 24-hour information center for travelers. This is a huge improvement for the 75,000 commuters who use the hub daily.
