Sera Ella is a magnificent hidden waterfall in the Matale district. You can reach it by driving through the extremely scenic Knuckles mountain range towards Laggala. The road is beautiful but winding.

What makes Sera Ella truly unique is that there is a dry, natural rock cave situated directly behind the curtain of falling water. You can safely walk behind the waterfall for an incredible, immersive experience.
