To reach the upper infinity pools of Diyaluma Falls, take a tuk tuk from Ella to the Makaldeniya junction. From there, you will find a small dirt trail leading down through the long grass and rubber trees.
The hike takes about 45 minutes. The trail is mostly downhill on the way there, but the hike back up to the road can be quite steep and hot, so bring plenty of water.
Once you reach the top of the falls, there are several beautiful natural pools you can safely swim in right at the edge of the massive cliff drop.

People outside stations offer to "help" buy tickets but charge large markups. They may buy cheap third-class tickets and sell as more expensive classes.
