The absolute fastest way to travel from Colombo airport directly to Hiriketiya is by booking a private taxi. The vehicle will take the Southern Expressway, making the entire journey take only about two and a half hours.
You can also use the PickMe or Uber apps directly from the airport arrivals hall. It is highly convenient and you get a fixed, transparent price for the long journey down the coast.
