Aberdeen Falls is incredibly majestic, but swimming in the main deep pool directly where the massive water column plunges is notoriously dangerous due to severe hidden undercurrents. It is strictly advised to only bathe in the shallower, much calmer rock pools situated slightly further downstream from the main impact zone, where the water is perfectly refreshing and completely safe.
