Bambarakanda Falls is the highest waterfall in Sri Lanka. It is located near Kalupahana, about an hours drive from Ella. You can easily hire a tuk tuk or a private car in Ella to take you there, wait while you hike to the base, and bring you back for a perfect day trip.
