Traveling with a 2-year-old. Should we bring a travel stroller, or just use a baby carrier for the whole trip?

Definitely bring a baby carrier. Sri Lanka is NOT stroller friendly. The pavements in cities are uneven or non-existent, temples have hundreds of stairs, and taking a stroller on a train or tuk-tuk is a nightmare.

I second the carrier. The only places a stroller is useful are inside large shopping malls in Colombo or walking along paved paths in nice resort hotels. Everywhere else, you need your hands free.
