Diyasaru Park in Thalawathugoda is a brilliant hidden green space just outside the main city. It is a beautifully restored urban wetland park filled with lotus ponds, quiet walking trails, and incredible birdlife.

The Beddagana Wetland Park is another fantastic, completely quiet nature reserve nearby. It offers shaded wooden boardwalks through the marshes where you can escape the loud city traffic entirely.
