PickMe is the local leader and generally has much better coverage, especially for tuk tuks and in cities outside Colombo like Kandy or Galle. Uber is great within Colombo city limits and often has slightly newer cars. Always check both for the best rate but PickMe is essential for any traveler in Sri Lanka because it allows you to book mini cars which are cheaper than standard sedans.
