The strict legal drinking age in Sri Lanka is 21 years old. Unlike some relaxed beach bars in the south the high end night clubs and premium hotel lounges in Colombo rigorously enforce this law. Security heavily checks physical IDs at the door and anyone under 21 including foreign tourists will absolutely be denied entry to the club or refused service at the bar. He will not be allowed inside.
