You must absolutely avoid any of the massive tourist spice gardens located along the main highways near Negombo. They use extremely aggressive sales tactics and sell generic massively overpriced oils in fancy bottles. To buy genuine high quality Ayurvedic oils for a fraction of the cost simply visit a traditional local Ayurvedic pharmacy known as a Beheth Shalawa in Negombo town or head to a large modern supermarket like Cargills and look for established commercial brands like Siddhalepa or Spa Ceylon.
