While the main Avurudu festival period has passed, several reputed traditional bakeries in Colombo serve these sweets year round. Places like Sponge in Kollupitiya or Green Cabin usually have a steady supply of Kokis, Mung Kavum, and Konda Kavum. Supermarkets also stock packaged versions, but the bakery ones are much closer to the authentic homemade taste.
