Which brand of Arrack should I try?

Ask for "Old Reserve" or "Ceylon Arrack". They are pure coconut sap arrack aged in teak wood. Avoid the extra cheap ones (like Extra Special) because they are blended with neutral spirits and give a bad hangover. Mix it with ginger beer or soda.

Rockland Old Recipe is my go-to. Tastes a bit like rum crossed with whiskey. Mix it with Elephant House Ginger Beer (EGB) and lots of lime.
