Any kade or night market still open at 11 or is Kandy just shutters
Shops on the lake have been shut since the 10.15 test. Partner is picturing a night market. I am picturing one tube light inland and a dog. We need water and something salted. Is 11pm actually a kade in this town or a backpacker myth we will walk for.

Lake-front night market at 23:00 after a Kumbal is a tourist sentence, not a gazette. Inland, a lit kade sometimes exists. I cannot swear 21 Aug 22:50 hours for any named shop. Walk inland, not back onto leftover cones. If it is shuttered, biscuits you already have. Do not treat a dark Cargills as a puzzle (that thread is closed).
11pm is late in this town on an ordinary Friday and later on a procession night. One street with a tube light. Cash small notes. No invented bun price.
One hopper place inland still had a kettle. We did not find a market. Correct.
Scam Watch: kandy
TukTuk or tour drivers take you to "gem museums" or "government-certified" gem shops. They receive huge commissions (up to 40%) on anything you buy. Prices are inflated 3-10x the actual value.
Men approach tourists near Temple of the Tooth offering to be guides. After the tour, they demand large "donations" or guide fees (5000-10000 LKR).
