Unlike Unawatuna or Mirissa Ahangama does not have massive commercial beach clubs pumping loud music every single night. The nightlife here is much more curated and event based.

However when a venue like The Doctor House or Trax throws a scheduled party it absolutely goes late into the night often past 2 AM. You just need to follow the local schedule to know exactly which venue is hosting the party on any given night.
