Are there heat warnings for trekking in Horton Plains during April?

The Met Department has issued a Caution Level heat index advisory for most provinces this April. Even at higher altitudes like Horton Plains, the sun is directly overhead between April 5 and 15. You must stay hydrated and wear light colored clothing. We strongly advise completing any strenuous hiking before 11:00 AM to avoid heat fatigue and the high intensity UV rays.
