I am heading to Sigiriya for 3 days. Do I need to withdraw all my cash in Dambulla first, or are there ATMs near the Lion Rock?

There are two ATMs right on the main road in Sigiriya village now (Commercial Bank and HNB). You do not need to haul cash from Dambulla anymore. They are very reliable.

I used the Commercial Bank ATM near the police station in Sigiriya. Worked perfectly with my foreign Visa card, max withdrawal was 100,000 LKR.
