Best quiet work spots with strong WiFi and actually good coffee?
I need reliable internet and decent coffee for long work sessions. Any recommendations?

Some newer cafes in Galle, Ahangama, Ella, and Colombo have invested in good WiFi and decent coffee machines. The combination isn't universal — many places have one or the other. Co-working spaces often have better infrastructure and sometimes decent coffee on site or nearby. For long sessions, places that are comfortable for several hours (not just quick coffee stops) work best. Asking other remote workers for current favorites usually gives the most up-to-date recommendations, as places change. Some guesthouses with good WiFi also have quiet corners that work well.
The places that cater to long-stay workers tend to have better infrastructure overall. Word of mouth among nomads is usually accurate.
