Can tuk-tuks handle luggage for long-distance travel or should I use something else?
I have a large backpack and camera gear. Are tuk-tuks practical for longer trips with luggage?

Standard tuk-tuks have limited luggage space — usually just a small area behind the seats. They're fine for short trips with a backpack or small suitcase, but not ideal for long-distance travel with lots of gear. For longer journeys or if you have bulky luggage, a private driver with a car or van is much more comfortable and practical. Some larger tuk-tuks exist but are less common. If you're moving between towns with significant luggage, arranging a driver or using a bus/train with storage is usually better. Tuk-tuks work great for local movement once you're settled with lighter day bags.
Tuk-tuks are fine for short trips with light luggage. For long distances or lots of gear, private drivers or buses/trains are more practical.
