You do not need to reserve the Sigiriya village tour online weeks in advance. If you are staying in Sigiriya or Habarana, literally any hotel manager or local tuk tuk driver can organize the tour for you on the exact same day. There are also several starting points near the Hiriwadunna lake where you can walk up and negotiate a tour directly with the guides on the spot.
