Yes absolutely. This is a brilliant way to eat highly affordable incredibly fresh seafood. Many of the smaller family run guesthouses and tiny beach shacks will happily cook the fish or crab you bring them for a very small preparation fee.

You must arrange this directly with the chef or owner beforehand. They usually charge roughly 1000 to 1500 Rupees to clean marinate and expertly grill the catch serving it with garlic butter rice and salad.
