Furthermore, if you are driving a scooter on very remote back roads far from a main station, you will frequently see small local shops selling petrol in glass glass or plastic bottles sitting on a table outside. This is completely normal and a brilliant, cheap way to top up your tank if you are running low in the deep jungle.
