Clock tower photos at midnight - allowed or leftover cones and a uniform
Not lake reflections after the dim. Not empty-Maligawa stills. Not a tripod on the wall. Partner wants to be under the clock tower at midnight because Kandy at midnight. I think a midnight clock-tower photo after a Kumbal is leftover tape and a conversation with someone who has been on the loop since 6:40 PM. Worth it, or bed.

This is not a carnival. No laser, no drone, no speaker, no tripod argument. A phone still of a clock, no flash, off the devotee pavement, is not a pavement seat. Standing in a carriageway at midnight for a frame is a 1,749 problem. 081 22 33 333 is not a photography desk this late. I cannot swear whether a uniform still wants that junction clear.
If you are not already there, do not walk there. Saturday 6:28 PM is the picture.
Scam Watch: kandy
TukTuk or tour drivers take you to "gem museums" or "government-certified" gem shops. They receive huge commissions (up to 40%) on anything you buy. Prices are inflated 3-10x the actual value.
Men approach tourists near Temple of the Tooth offering to be guides. After the tour, they demand large "donations" or guide fees (5000-10000 LKR).
