Currently, true 5G internet is only consistently available in central Colombo and very specific, highly populated areas. On the south coast, including Ahangama and Galle, you will primarily be relying on 4G networks.

However, do not worry. The 4G infrastructure provided by Dialog and Mobitel is exceptionally strong and fast. You can easily stream HD video and conduct remote work seamlessly on the 4G network along the entire southern coastal highway.
