Empty surfing beaches on the east coast near Arugam Bay

Yes, the stretch between Panama and Okanda on the East Coast is pure wilderness. There are several unnamed right-hand points. However, you are surfing inside a national park buffer zone. There are crocodiles in the lagoons and wild elephants on the dirt tracks. You must have a 4x4 and go with a group.
No, absolutely nothing. You must bring all the drinking water and food you will need for the entire day.
We surfed near Kumana and had to wait for a herd of elephants to leave the beach before we could paddle out. Wild experience.
Never swim in the still lagoon water behind those breaks. Only swim in the crashing ocean where crocs rarely go.
