We want to do the garden tour at Lunuganga near Bentota. Can we just show up, or must it be pre-booked?

For the general garden tour, you can just show up. They run tours usually at 9:30 AM, 11:30 AM, 2:00 PM, and 3:30 PM. However, if you want to stay for lunch on the terrace (highly recommended), you MUST book at least 24 hours in advance.

Take mosquito repellent! The gardens border a lake and the mosquitos are vicious, especially on the afternoon tour.
