While Lipton Seat is famous a massive hidden gem is the Adisham Bungalow and the surrounding Thangamale bird sanctuary. The hike through the dense pine forest is incredibly peaceful and free of tourists.

Another phenomenal secret spot is Prabhawa Mountain viewpoint. It is a highly secluded peak located just behind the Haputale railway station offering absolutely staggering panoramic views all the way to the southern coast on a clear day.

If you love waterfalls hike down to Bambarakanda falls from the Kalupahana junction. Most tourists just view it from the road but climbing up to the upper hidden pools provides an incredibly serene untouched swimming experience.
