Yes! Drive inland from Ahangama/Koggala for about 40 minutes towards the Handunugoda tea estate area. There is a hidden gem called "Dooli Ella" (Dust Waterfall) and a few other unnamed rock pools scattered through the jungle there. It is incredibly refreshing, ice-cold water, and you will likely be the only people there. The scooter ride through the winding green villages is half the fun.

Make sure your scooter has good brakes. The roads inland get very steep and narrow quickly.

Bring mosquito repellent. Once you leave the salty beach air, the jungle mosquitoes are ruthless.
